BLAST Shares Schedule and Final Invites for Bounty 2025 Season 1

BLAST have announced the finalised list of invited Counter-Strike teams to BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1, as well as the schedule for the opening matches of the tournament.

The 32-team CS2 esports event is set to kick off on Tuesday, January 14, as the first S-Tier tournament of the season.
While the format was known prior, it was not until Saturday that the organisers revealed the full team list and some changes, with The MongolZ withdrawing from the event due to concerns about the health and safety of their players.
Besides the complete list, BLAST also announced the opening matches which have been determined with a new system.
The squads with lower seeds (17-32) got to select their opponents to secure bounties, with each higher-ranked team having a designated match time.
Ranked 18th on the Valve Global Rankings, BIG were the first team to pick their Round 1 opponents, followed by no.19 Virtus.pro, and so on.
Round of 16 games will be drawn on January 17, whereas the playoff draw will take place on January 22.
BLAST have also confirmed the participating rewards, which were determined based on the Valve rankings on December 2.
The top-eight ranked teams will receive $40,000; teams ranked 9th-16th will get $26,256, and the rest will be awarded $7,500.

The tournament will begin on Tuesday, January 14, with the opening match between FlyQuest and MIBR at 12:00 CET.
