GIANTX vs Fnatic Predictions
GIANTX and Fnatic will face off on Saturday, February 1, in the final week of the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) Winter 2025 regular season. Both teams are in great form, which adds to the excitement of this clash, even though both are all but guaranteed to secure a spot in the playoffs.

Fnatic and GIANTX have looked very good this split. Fnatic have secured five wins from six games, while GIANTX are 4-2 with defeats against G2 Esports and Movistar KOI, but they also produced the cleanest performance of this season in their win against Karmine Corp.
This will be an interesting test for both LoL esports teams, and while it is easy to see why Fnatic are billed as favourites, GIANTX are more than capable of stopping the Black & Orange, especially as they will have side choice, which bumps them up, a bit more.
- Both teams have shown great form this split
- GIANTX have side choice
- Underdogs are an interesting pick at the offered odds
Head to Head
GIANTX and Fnatic have yet to meet this season.
GIANTX Form
GIANTX are 4-2 this split, which is an excellent spot to be in heading into the final week of the LEC Winter 2025. Their only two losses came against Movistar KOI and G2 Esports, who woke up late last week and trashed GIANTX.
That loss does not take away from the fact that GIANTX ave been playing well and that they produced the cleanest game of the split in their win against Karmine Corp. This is a solid team.
For this match, GIANTX will also have side choice, which bumps them up even more and makes it harder to explain why they are priced as such big underdogs. Fnatic are good, and rightly priced as favourites, but at this number, you have to look the other way.
GIANTX Squad & Team News
No roster changes for GIANTX.
- Eren "Lot" Yıldız – top lane
- Can "Closer" Çelik – jungle
- Adam "Jackies" Jeřábek – mid lane
- Oh "Noah" Hyeon-taek – ADC
- Yoon "Jun" Se-jun – support
Fnatic Form
Besides their game one loss to Movistar KOI, Fnatic have been cruising through LEC Winter 2025, picking u five straight wins along the way. They are playing as well as many expected, and surprisingly, they found solid synergy very early into the split.
While I can praise Fnatic for what they've shown so far, they will face another capable team in GIANTX, so you have to ask yourself whether Fnatic deserve to be 1.42 favourites.
Fnatic Squad & Team News
No changes for Fnatic.
- Oscar "Oscarinin" Munoz – top lane
- Ivan"Razork" Martin – jungle
- Marek "Humanoid" Brazda– mid lane
- Elias "Upset" Lipp – ADC
- Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle – support
Verdict
Fnatic are objectively a better team, but you have to ask yourself by how much? Even if we say Fnatic are a tier above GIANTX (which is pushing it), seeing them priced at 1.42 in a best-of-one game and offside sounds a bit too much.
At best, Fnatic should be priced at roughly 1.60 against GIANTX, even if we do not consider the side choice. And with GIANTX likely opting for blue side, which has been the best-performing side in this meta, a fairer price would be much closer to even money.
There is a world where GIANTX lose momentum following their loss against G2 Esports, but they have looked stable enough for me to take their side over Fnatic.
