Both teams started their IEM Katowice 2025 campaign with a bang, as The MongolZ defeated Team Liquid and GamerLegion, whereas NaVi swept FURIA and added a massive victory against Team Spirit.

Seeing NaVi defeat Spirit alone is a good enough reason to believe in them and their chances to go all the way in Katowice. However, that does not take away from the fact that MongolZ have the tools to compete at the highest level.

NaVi looked incredible in the latter series, which made it very believable that NaVi can go all the way. But first, they have to make it past The MongolZ, who can be a tough nut to crack.

Natus Vincere and The MongolZ have not met once since March 2024, and they’ve both since produced some very promising results. NaVi enter this match off a massive victory against Team Spirit, which alone is a good indication that NaVi are in great shape.

However, The MongolZ, despite not beating any heavyweights in the first two rounds, have looked solid and as they showed last season, MongolZ are unquestionably good enough to hold their own at the highest level.
