Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Fnatic Predictions
Ninjas in Pyjamas will take on Fnatic this Saturday, March 8, in the upper bracket semifinal of Group C at PGL Bucharest 2025: European Qualifier, in their first clash of the season. Neither team is in great form; however, according to the latest betting odds, Fnatic are slight favourites to come out on top.

Fnatic enter this match after picking up a forfeit win in the first round against 500. Prior to that they've managed a two-game winning streak, having beaten GUN5 Esports and Spirit Academy.
Ninjas in Pyjamas had to fight their way past Nexus Gaming in Round 1, although that marked only their second victory over a five-game stretch.
Even though Fnatic have not been playing well, Ninjas in Pyjamas have been struggling more in their recent outings and only seems to do well when faced with weak teams. Unless they find a way to improve, NiP will not have an easy time against Fnatic.
- Fnatic are in better shape
- Ninjas in Pyjamas have only found success in lower-tier teams
- This is Fnatic's game to lose
Head to Head
Ninjas in Pyjamas and Fnatic have not met this season.
Ninjas in Pyjamas Esports Form
Ninjas in Pyjamas enter this match with a 2-3 record from their last five, which is not too inspiring. Looking further back, they've managed eight wins over a 12-game stretch, albeit those came against lower-tier teams such as Lazer, benched, RUBY, Rebels Gaming, Apogee, and more recently, Nexus Gaming.
NiP had an easy time beating Nexus Gaming in the first round of PGL Bucharest 2025: European Qualifier. They won with 13-6 on Inferno and 13-5 on Nuke. But as dominant as that win looks, it does not prove much, considering Nexus are not a particularly good team.
On a more positive note, NiP's r1nkle and Snappi performed admirably well on the day, posting a 1.59 and 1.45 performance rating.

Fnatic Form
Fnatic have not found much success late in 2024, and even after making some roster changes, the Black & Orange have yet to make much noise.
Since the turn of the year, they've attended a few CCT Season 2 tournaments but never placed higher than ninth-16th. Moreover, they crashed out of Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2025: European Open Qualifier and BLAST Bounty Spring 2025: Closed Qualifiers without showing much.
On a more positive note, Fnatic have recently beaten GUN5 (2-1) and Spirit Academy (2-0), improving their record to 6-4 from the last 10. Admittedly, most of those wins came against tier-two teams, but Fnatic still had to play more formidable opponents than Ninjas in Pyjamas.
Fnatic Squad & Team News

Verdict
As a clash between two struggling teams, there are arguments to be made that it can go both ways. However, it is hard to look past Fnatic as the most likely victors.
That is not necessarily because Fnatic have been performing well, but rather because NiP have not. They've only managed to defeat the likes of Nexus, Apogee, and other lower-rated teams, whereas Fnatic have at least found success against GUN5, BC.Game, and Spirit Academy.
There's a good chance this game is decided on map three, but this is still Fnatic's game to lose.
