Prominent Saudi esports organisation Team Falcons announced its first foray into the Rainbow Six Siege esports scene with a new roster comprising former Team BDS players.

Team Falcons' R6S lineup will consist of Loïc "BriD" Chongthe, Théo "LikEfac" Mariano, Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu, Fatih "Solotov" Türker, Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard, and coaches Samy "Stooflex" Smail, and Julio "Julio" Giacomell, all of whom previously represented Team BDS, but were let go this month, after BDS allowed them to explore options for the next season.

Shaiiko and BriD were released from Team BDS on March 1. This was confirmed by Shaiiko made a post on X, thanking BDS for "amazing five years. Yuzurs, Solotov, and LikEfac were released from BDS on Monday, March 10.

Team BDS's decision to allow the roster to explore their options came as a bit of a shock, as the lineup had an amazing run through the 2024 season. They finished second at BLAST R6 Major Manchester 2024, won the Esports World Cup 2024 and both Europe Leagues, and placed second at Six Invitational 2025 in February.

However, unsurprisingly, the ex-Team BDS roster did not long to find a new home.

By signing the Team BDS lineup, Team Falcons acquired one of the strongest R6S rosters in the world, setting themselves up for success with their inaugural Rainbow Six Siege project.

However, it might take a bit longer before we get to see Team Falcons in action, as the Saudi organisation have yet to announce any tournaments in which they'll participate.

At the latest, the Falcons will play their first official match in June at the Europe MENA League 2025 - Stage 1.

Team Falcons are not the only prominent esports organisation that announced their entry into the R6S esports scene. Earlier this week, Chinese organisation Weibo Gaming revealed their inaugural R6S roster, consisting of former Bleed Esports and Elevate players.

Like Team Falcons, Weibo Gaming have yet to announce in which tournaments they'll participate.
