Prior to the RMR, VP struggled at Thunderpick World Championship 2024 with an early exit from the tournament, but they performed fairly well at Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024. As their recent results suggest, VP have been very inconsistent, even against weaker teams, so it is more than fair to question whether the Russian squad can deliver to the expectations at the Major.

MIBR Form

MIBR had a solid start to the year and won the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2024 in April. Over the next five months, MIBR did not win anything nor came close to collecting another trophy until September, when the Brazilian lineup exceeded expectations and made the top four at ESL Pro League Season 20.

Another dry streak followed until recently when MIBR placed second at ESL Challenger League Season 48: South America and made it through the American RMR with a perfect 3-0 record.

Like Virtus.pro, MIBR have produced mixed results this season, proving they struggle with consistency.
