Weibo Gaming played their last match nearly one month ago, when they looked a bit shaky in their win against Ultra Prime. It was not the cleanest performance or a showing you would expect from one of the title contenders.

Yet the same can be said for JD Gaming’s 3-2 victory against Oh My God two weeks ago, which came very close to ending in OMG’s favour. Unlike JD Gaming, Weibo Gaming have not made as many roster changes this offseason, but both teams look a bit disjointed.

I would not hold it against anyone who would say JD Gaming are the better team. On paper, they look as such, but the eye test proves that JDG are still a bit shaky on their feet, which was to be expected following a major roster overhaul and the addition of a new coach.

Weibo Gaming suffer from the same problem, as a capable team who are not very stable. But we know that WBG tend to perform better when challenged, and with side choice, Weibo Gaming should be considered as a solid bet at anything above 2.00.
