Wildcard vs Complexity Predictions

Wildcard and Complexity will face off on Monday, March 10, in the PGL Bucharest 2025: North American Qualifier grand final, marking their first meeting of the season. While both teams looked great en route to the final match, Wildcard are billed as firm favourites to come out on top.

This is not too surprising as Complexity have not been performing too well this season since the departure of their star player, EliGE. On the other side, Wildcard have not shown anything spectacular either, and they looked just as good during PGL Bucharest 2025: North American Qualifier.

While neither team found much success internationally, Wildcard have looked better and are rightly priced as favourites.

  • Complexity are 7-7 since the start of the season
  • Wildcard performed better in international events
  • This is Wildcard’s game to lose

Head to Head

Complexity and Wildcard have yet to meet this season.

Wildcard Form

Wildcard have had their moments this season. They won Frost and Fire Europe in January and showed some fight at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025 with a 2-0 sweep of BIG and a 1-2 loss against FURIA.

Their PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 campaign was not too convincing, as Wildcard put together just one victory against MIBR and three losses against MongolZ (0-2), Virtus.pro (0-2), and BIG (1-2).

However, despite their lack of success on the international stage, Wildcard have shown some good things and had an easy path through the qualifiers, suggesting they're in great form.

Wildcard Squad & Team News

Wildcard have not made any roster changes.

  • Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz
  • Joshua "JBa" Barutt
  • Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek
  • Tim "susp" Ångström
  • Love "phzy" Smidebrant

Complexity Form

Complexity are not the same team since the offseason roster change, as they’ve been struggling to leave a lasting mark in any of the international events they’ve attended so far this season.

They produced last-place finishes at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025: Closed Qualifier and IEM Katowice 2025, and in February, they managed just one win (against Imperial Female) at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025.

Domestically, Complexity have looked better, winning five straight games at PGL Bucharest 2025: North American Qualifier, granted those came against weaker teams in Aether, Flyte, Chill Guys and BLUEJAYS.

Complexity Squad & Team News

No changes for Complexity.

  • Ioannis 'Johnny' "JT" Theodosiou
  • Michael "Grim" Wince
  • Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli
  • Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk
  • Nicholas "nicx" Lee

Verdict

Wildcard and Complexity have both proven to be a class above everyone else at PGL Bucharest 2025: North American Qualifier, but they’ve had a very soft schedule so that success proves very little. Still, it is hard not to look at Wildcard as the more likely victors.

They have looked much more stable than Complexity and hold a better map win rate on five of seven maps in the rotation, putting them at a notable advantage for this series.
