Chelsea need to revive their top four hopes as they host West Ham in the English Premier League on Monday night.
The Hammers are trying to find their feet under Graham Potter, who will be looking to get one over on his former club. Although the visitors could make things tricky, the Blues are solid at home and should have the upper hand here.

Things have dipped slightly in the last few weeks for Chelsea, who have picked up just two wins from their last eight matches across all competitions. They were beaten 3-1 at Manchester City in their previous fixture and are not only out of the title race but have also slipped out of the top four.
One of the things hampering Chelsea lately is their poor defence as they seem unable to keep clean sheets or even hold on to leads. They are without a clean sheet in their last six Premier League matches and manager Enzo Maresca has had to defend goalkeeper Robert Sanchez for a string of high profile errors.
In the midst of all these problems Chelsea are still decent at Stamford Bridge and are unbeaten in nine of their last 10 home matches across all competitions. Their attack has also been good enough to score in both halves in six of their last seven home matches in all competitions while all seven fixtures have produced over 2.5 goals.
West Ham Form
Graham Potter's time as Chelsea boss was short-lived and he will take his West Ham team to Stamford Bridge looking to revive their campaign. The Hammers have only won once since Potter's appointment but showed some fight to come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw at Aston Villa in their previous fixture.
West Ham have been poor travellers this season, with just two wins from their last 12 away matches across all competitions. They have suffered some heavy defeats on the road like the 4-1 thrashings at Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
Defending had been a major problem for West Ham this season but they have shown some flashes of attacking quality, scoring in each of their last six Premier League away matches. Four of their last six matches across all competitions have also produced over 2.5 goals.

Chelsea are unbeaten in the last six matches against West Ham and have picked up four wins in that run. The Blues earned a 3-0 away victory in the reverse fixture back in September and have also won the last three meetings at Stamford Bridge.
Verdict
Things may be difficult at the moment for Chelsea but they are solid at home and will fancy their chances against West Ham. Given their defensive issues, they are likely to concede but should have enough to win Monday’s clash which is expected to produce over 2.5 goals.
Despite all of their recent problems, the goals continue to flow for Chelsea who should continue their trend of scoring in both halves at home.
