Everton vs Leicester City Tips & Preview - Toffees to maintain resurgence
- Everton and Leicester City are both aiming for back-to-back Premier League wins.
- Everton, led by Ndiaye, are in strong form under manager David Moyes.
- Leicester City ended a seven-game losing streak and seek a repeat away success.

Everton vs Leicester City
Everton host Leicester City in an English Premier League fixture on Saturday with both teams looking to build on wins last time out.
While the Foxes will take confidence from their previous win, the home team’s recent good form has been more sustained. Led by Iliman Ndiaye who is playing well at the moment, the Toffees should have the upper hand at Goodison Park.
Everton Form
Everton are coming off a 1-0 victory at Brighton in their previous Premier League fixture. Ndiaye's effort from the penalty spot was their only attempt on target as they put up a solid defensive display to see out the win.
The Toffees appear to be settling under new manager David Moyes as they have won three of their last five matches across all competitions since the appointment of the new boss. They are also beginning to ease away from the relegation zone and are now seven points clear of the bottom three.
Everton are a bit more progressive in front of their fans as evidenced by the 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in their previous home fixture. They have also scored first in three of their last four matches across all competitions with Ndiaye finding the net in all three fixtures.
Leicester City Form
Leicester City were also victorious in their previous Premier League fixture as they claimed a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur. They fought back from a goal down with second half efforts from Bilal El Khannouss earning them the win.
The result and the manner it was achieved will give Leicester City plenty of confidence as it showed they can put up a fight in their relegation battle. The Foxes have now climbed to 17th in the table, one point above the bottom three.
While Leicester will look to build on that win, they will still be aware of the fact that they had lost their previous seven Premier League matches. Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s team had also suffered five straight away defeats in the league prior to that win at Spurs.
Head to Head
Everton have two wins while Leicester City have been victorious just once in the last seven meetings. The other four matches have ended in stalemates with the Toffees earning a 1-1 away draw in the reverse fixture back in September.
Verdict
Leicester will have plenty of positives to take from that win at Tottenham but they face an Everton side who appear to be fully settled under their new manager. The Toffees are also solid enough at the back to fend off any attacks and should see out the win.
Ndiaye is looking sharp at the moment and will be the man to provide the quality needed in front for Everton once again. The Merseyside club also tend to score first at home and should grab the opening goal on Saturday.
