It is a battle between two of the most exciting teams in Serie A this season as Fiorentina welcome reigning champions Inter Milan to the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Both teams are part of a four-way tie on 28 points, just one behind leaders Napoli and will be keen to maintain their pursuit. There is undoubted quality in both attacks and Sunday’s clash could be set to produce goals.

Fiorentina have surprised everyone this season and are challenging around the top end of the table. They are just one point behind leaders Napoli and have won their last seven Serie A matches.

La Viola claimed a 2-0 victory over Como in their previous Serie A fixture and followed that up with a 3-2 win over Pafos in the Europa Conference League.

One of the most impressive things about Fiorentina this season has been their attack as they have put a few teams to the sword. A 5-1 victory over Roma and a 6-0 triumph at Lecce are among the results for Raffaele Palladino’s men.

Inter Milan Form

Although Inter Milan are third in the Serie A table, they will be pleased with their title defence so far. Sitting just one point off the pace, there is a feeling that they are biding their time and will pounce at any opportunity.

The Nerazzurri were last defeated in September and are unbeaten in their last 12 matches across all competitions. Simone Inzaghi’s men have picked up 10 wins in that run, including a 1-0 victory over RB Leipzig.

Inter Milan have also shown some attacking quality this season, a feat highlighted by the 5-0 victory over Verona in their last Serie A match. Lautaro Martinez only has five goals in the League this season but has found the net five times in the last four matches against Fiorentina.
