Manchester City continue their push for a top four finish as they host fast-rising Brighton in an English Premier League fixture on Saturday.

Brighton are one of the in-form teams in the Premier League at the moment and have won their last six matches across all competitions. That run has revived their Champions League hopes as they are now up to seventh in the table, three points off the top four.
The Seagulls travel to the Etihad off the back of a 2-1 home victory over Fulham in their previous Premier League fixture. The nature of that result highlights a trend in recent weeks having scored and conceded in their last three matches across all competitions.
Brighton have also done some good work on their recent travels and are unbeaten in eight of their last nine away matches across all competitions. However, among the results on the road for Fabian Hurzeler’s team is a 7-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Brigton claimed a 2-1 home victory in the reverse fixture back in November, although Manchester City had been unbeaten in the six matches prior to that clash. The Citizens had claimed five wins in that run, including a 2-1 home victory in the last meeting at the Etihad.
