Nice vs Bodo/Glimt Tips & Preview - High-scoring contest in France
- Nice play only for pride in their final Europa League match.
- Bodo/Glimt chase a top 8 finish, spurred by Kasper Hogh's recent form.
- Expect a high-scoring affair with potential for over 3.5 goals.

Nice vs Bodo/Glimt
Nice are only playing for pride as they host Bodo/Glimt in their final fixture in the first phase of the Europa League.
While the French side have nothing at stake, the visitors are still in the running for a top eight finish. Both teams have had their fair share of high-scoring encounters and there should be plenty of goals in this one.
Nice Form
The Europa League dream is over for Nice as they can no longer qualify for the playoffs having failed to earn a single win in the competition. Franck Haise’s team have lost five of their seven matches and were beaten 1-0 by Elfsborg in their previous fixture.
Things are a bit better for Nice away from the Europa League as they have won four of their last six matches across all competitions, scoring first half goals four times in that run. They have also won four of their last five home matches across all competitions, although their previous Europa League fixture at Allianz Riviera was a 4-1 defeat to Rangers.
Nice's Europa League campaign has been plagued by poor defending as they are without a clean sheet in their last three home matches in the competition, conceding seven goals. They have also scored in all three fixtures, two of which have produced over 3.5 goals.
Bodo/Glimt Form
Bodo/Gmint are currently 10th in the table, just one point off the top eight and will head into Thursday's match looking to make a final push. They have four wins from seven Europa League matches and claimed a 3-2 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv last time out with Kasper Hogh netting a brace.
The Norwegians’ overall form has also been decent lately, with three wins from their last five matches across all competitions. Hogh has been at the heart of that good form, scoring four goals in the last three fixtures in that run.
With the forward leading the line, Bodo/Glimt have had no problems in attack and have scored in the first half in four of their last five matches, although they have struggled to keep clean sheets. Kjetil Knudsen's team have conceded in each of their last six matches across all competitions, with four of those fixtures producing over 3.5 goals.
Head to Head
This is the first ever meeting between Nice and Bodo/Glimt.
Verdict
With nothing to play for, Nice are likely to be relaxed on Thursday and that reduced pressure could see them go out and try to get one final win. Bodo/Glimt are also likely to adopt an open approach and given the results from both teams lately, Thursday's clash could produce over 3.5 goals.
Both teams have a knack for scoring in the first half and should produce something similar on Thursday while Hogh is expected to get on the score sheet.
