Portsmouth are looking to maintain their push away from the relegation zone and will host leaders Leeds United in an English Championship fixture on Sunday.
The hosts have been solid at home lately while the visitors have a good record on their recent travels. Both teams may be battling at opposite ends of the table but seem to enjoy a similar attacking style and this could set up an open encounter.
Portsmouth Form
Portsmouth have been on a quest to ease away from the drop zone lately and are now up to 17th in the table, eight points above the relegation places. They have won three of their last four Championship matches but were beaten 1-0 at Luton Town in their previous fixture.
Their survival quest has been built on a solid home form that has seen them go unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 Championship matches at Fratton Park. John Mousinho's men have claimed some major scalps in that run, like the 4-1 victory over promotion chasing Coventry City and the 2-1 triumph over Middlesbrough.
Portsmouth are often sharp going forward and have scored in six of their last eight Championship home matches. However, they have failed to keep a clean sheet in five of their last six fixtures at Fratton Park while six of the last eight matches in front of their fans have produced over 2.5 goals.
Leeds United Form
Leeds United stumbled last time out in the Championship as they were held to a 1-1 draw with West Brom. They remain top of the table but their lead has been cut to three points by Sheffield United, with Burnley a further two points behind.
The good news for Leeds is that they are still on a lengthy unbeaten run with their last Championship defeat coming in November. Daniel Farke’s men have also won their last three away matches and claimed a 3-1 victory at promotion rivals Sheffield United in their previous fixture on the road.
Leeds United boast one of the best attacks in the Championship, led by Joel Piroe, who is the league's top scorer with 15 goals. However, they are without a clean sheet in four of their last five matches across all competitions while three of the last four in that run have produced over 2.5 goals.

Portsmouth and Leeds United battled to a 3-3 draw in the reverse fixture back in October. However, prior to that clash, the last meeting between both teams was during the 2011-12 Championship season, with the visitors claiming a 1-0 home victory before holding out for a 0-0 away draw in the second meeting.
Verdict
Portsmouth may be battling around the danger zone, but seem to hold their own against the big guns, especially at home. Both teams have scored in Pompey's last two matches at Fratton Park and given the six-goal thriller in the reverse fixture, a repeat is expected here.
