There is a conundrum for manager Carlo Ancelotti around whether to rest players on Sunday, with the second leg against Arsenal on the horizon. They need to keep up the pursuit of Barcelona and have won three of their last four La Liga matches but suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Valencia in their previous fixture.
