Cadiz continue their push for a place in the top half of the table and host Almeria in a Friday night Segunda Division clash.

The visitors are looking to ramp up their push for the promotion playoffs in the final weeks of the season but head into this clash with a poor away record. With the hosts often hard to get past in front of their fans, they should avoid defeat here.

Sitting nine points above the bottom four, Cadiz face no real relegation threat and will have eyes on a place in the top half. They are currently just four points off 10th placed Deportivo La Coruna and with four matches left to play, will have hopes of reaching their target.

Almeria are currently in the final promotion playoff spot but have Granada and Huesca breathing down their necks. They have fended off the pressure admirably, claiming three wins from their last four matches, easing to a 5-0 home victory over Eldense in their previous fixture.

The problem for Almeria is that they often struggle on their travels and are winless in their last seven Segunda Division matches. Rubi's team have been beaten six times in that run and suffered a 4-1 defeat at Castellon in their previous fixture on the road.

Almeria also seem to struggle in attack on their travels and have failed to score more than one goal in their last seven matches. They have also played out halftime draws in two of their last three away fixtures in the league.
