Celta Vigo continue their push for a place in Europe next season as they host Sevilla in a Spanish La Liga fixture on Saturday.

After going on a fine run in January and February to ease some of their relegation worries, Sevilla appear to have gone back to old habits in the last few weeks. They are winless in their last seven La Liga matches and are now just six points above the bottom three with four games left to play.
Sevilla have lost five of their last seven matches but are coming off a 2-2 home draw with Leganes in their previous fixture. Joaquin Caparros’ team have also suffered defeats in their last three away fixtures in the league.
The visitors do have some quality going forward and like the hosts also tend to leave things late. Six of their last nine away goals in La Liga have been scored in the second half.

Sevilla have two wins while Celta Vigo have been victorious just once in the last seven meetings, with both teams battling to four draws in that run, the visitors claimed a 2-0 home victory in the reverse fixture back in December.
Verdict
Celta Vigo are determined to hold on to their European slot and will be keen to make their home games count. Having gone unbeaten in nine of their last 11 matches at home, they should see off Sevilla, who have lost their last three away fixtures.
