AC Milan will be aiming to maintain their recent good form when they travel to troubled Genoa for a Monday night Italian Serie A fixture.

The hosts have been out of sorts in the last few weeks and struggling to produce much quality going forward. Meanwhile the Rossoneri have looked sharp lately and given their solid showings on the road, should have the upper hand here.

AC Milan have endured a difficult campaign as they sit ninth in the table with a slim chance of sealing a European slot. However, they appear to be making a solid end to the campaign and their recent upturn in form has seen them earn a place in the Coppa Italia final.

The Rossoneri have picked up three wins in their last four matches across all competitions, earning a 2-0 victory at Venezia in their previous Serie A clash. That result means Sergio Conceicao’s team have also won three of their last five away matches in the league.

At the heart of AC Milan’s resurgence is a solid defence that has kept clean sheets in three of the last four matches across all competitions. That backline successfully shut out Inter Milan's prolific attack in the 3-0 Coppa Italia semi-final victory and they will be confident of a similar display on Monday.

AC Milan are the superior side in this fixture and are unbeaten in the last seven matches against Genoa, claiming five wins in that run. The visitors were held to a 0-0 home draw in the reverse fixture in December but have won the last two away clashes.
