Denmark can move level on points with Portugal at the top of Group 4 if they can end their opponent's perfect start to the Nations League.
Portugal could move six points clear of second if they beat Denmark and Wales defeat second-placed Norway.

Denmark have won four of their last 10 against Portugal, with the travelling side winning five matches and one game ending as a draw.

Denmark were denied a hard-earned point against Norway in their opener as they came back from 2-0 down to level the game at 2-2 only to concede a 74th minute Erling Haaland goal.
Their second outing against Wales became hugely important as they could have slipped six points short of the summit. A comfortable 2-0 win over the Welsh at home was the remedy they needed, with this triumph ensuring they can match Portugal's points tally if they can win their third match.
The Portuguese arrive having won their opening two, but they are far from unbeatable. They struggled to break Wales down in their opener while they had a real battle on their hands against Norway.
Denmark's home game against Portugal is a match they will feel they can win, and with the prospect of moving to the summit, I am backing the home side to surge to an important win as they secure consecutive home wins over their opponents.
Portugal Form
Portugal may top Group 4 of the Nations League on the back of two wins, but they have not looked entirely comfortable across either outing.
They may have beaten a depleted Wales, but this came in a 1-0 triumph that saw the Portuguese struggle to open their opponents up. Against Norway, they did come out on top in a 2-1 win, but they were dominated statistically as the home side enjoyed 62% of the ball and took 18 shots to Portugal's nine.
Portugal do boast a 5-2 win over their opponents when they last met, but their last foray to play Denmark away from home saw the former lose 1-0. This will likely be a very tight match in which there are few clear-cut chances. Despite currently sitting at the top of the group, I predict that Portugal will suffer their first defeat as Group 4 is blown wide open.

I am backing Denmark to secure the points against Portugal as they end the latter's perfect start.
