Wales vs Norway Preview & Tips
Wales are still searching for their first goal and point of their 2026 Nations League campaign, with the side slumping to a pair of defeats and the foot of the standings.
Norway were beaten 2-1 by Portugal in their last game as they missed the chance to move clear at the top of the group.

The pair have met seven times before, with Norway winning once, Wales winning three times and three games ending as draws.
Wales Form
Wales have not been able to celebrate a goal at the 2026 Nations League after defeats to Portugal (1-0) and Norway (2-0).
Despite failing to win, their defeat to Portugal was one that Wales can be proud of defensively. Missing a string of key players, the Welsh were typically stubborn without the ball, making it very difficult for Portugal to break them down. However, they went backwards against Denmark, with their hosts completely outplaying them as Wales failed to create any real chances in another defeat.
Playing at home for the first time in the competition this year, Wales will hope they can draw from the crowd. However, the home side are now without a win since they beat North Macedonia 7-1 back in November of 2025. Since then, they have lost three times and drawn three matches after 90 minutes.
Norway Form
Norway know they need a big reaction in what is their most winnable away game in their Nations League campaign.
The nation began their campaign with a pulsating 3-2 win over Denmark that saw them spurn a 2-0 lead before Erling Haaland scored his second on the day to make it 3-2. Despite netting against Portugal, Haaland could not inspire his side to a win as they slipped to a 2-1 loss.
Haaland currently boasts three goals in the competition, while he has scored in his last seven outings for club and country. As Wales are yet to keep a clean sheet, Haaland will be key in this game, and I back him to score for the eighth consecutive outing for club and country.

I am backing Erling Haaland to score for the third successive game for Norway as he breaches Wales' defence.
