Barcelona vs Getafe Preview & Tips

Barcelona have already surged five points clear at the top of La Liga after a brilliant start in which they have dispatched all seven of the sides they have faced.

Getafe are looking to do what no other side has managed this season as they take on the best side in Spain.

Barcelona have won six of their last 10 against Getafe, with the other four ending as draws.

Barcelona have been the outstanding team in La Liga this season with each of their opening seven matches all ending in victories.

Only Athletic Bilbao have managed to stop Barcelona from scoring three goals or more, with Racing Santander (7-2), Valencia (5-0), Rayo Vallecano (5-2) and Elche (5-0) feeling the wrath of their frontline. Ultimately, Barcelona have been making a mockery of the majority of the defences they have faced so far.

Raphinha has really impressed with his goal scoring after netting 12 goals, five more than both teammate Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe. I back Raphinha so impress once again as he leads Barcelona to a big win.

Getafe Form

Getafe have stated the season fairly well, with the side able to win twice, draw twice and have to stomach just three defeats.

Heading into the international break, Getafe were able to secure a morale-boosting 1-0 win over Malaga, thus enabling them to end a four-game winless run that had seen them draw twice and lose twice following their 1-0 win over Racing Santander back in late-August.

While Getafe have been able to keep scorelines down after most of the campaign, they will struggle this weekend. Barcelona are averaging over four goals scored per game in the league, and I believe that the travelling side will be the latest team blown away by the reigning champions.
